Friends...

Humans are not always alone. God create Eve for Adam so that Adam is not alone. Human need to interact with each other. When I was in primary school, I remember we used to play hide and seek in the classroom. That was a fun time for me but when I come to secondary school my friends that I have was a little bit crazy. They enjoy doing crazy stuff. Chemistry was our favourite subject but I never pass that subject. Why I say so? Because chemistry was the only subject that deal with chemical the most. We will mix up the entire chemical that is outside the display glass and test all the powder that is displayed.

I remember that one day we almost blow up the whole chemistry lab. We try something stupid that day by mixing up all the chemical and powder into the test tube and suddenly the test tube become so hot until we do not know what to do. So one of my friends suggest that we throw the chemical to the flower pot. Just a few minute the plant that is inside the flower pot began to turn yellow. We do not know what to do. One brilliant friend of mine saw an umbrella and open it. He turn the umbrella upside down and began to feel it with water. As soon he water almost fill up the upside down umbrella he run to the flower pot but before he reach the flower pot, the umbrella broke because it was heavily filled with water and poor him that his whole shoe is wet.

We laugh and laugh at his silly idea. That was a memory that I will always treasure in my mind and will always think back of the fun times that I have in secondary school. Well, as we grow we will have different circle of friends. Friends do come and go. There is a proverb saying, “When there is a beginning, there is always and ending”. As they grow they have different walks of life and different goal to achieve in life.

School days will be always the best days in my life for me. It was so fun that I usually hang out with my friends to do silly stuff. Sometime there are friends that purposely break you up discourage you with their kiasu attitude. Some will knock you down along the journey. I takes time to get up and to recover the bruises. I have one friend that will never leave me nor forsake you that is Jesus. I like a hymn called “What a friend we have in Jesus”. It will always remind me of Jesus’ promise that he will never failed to fulfil it. He knows me when I am small and till know He is the only best friend that I have.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your request to God” (Phil 4:5).

Eagle

I like eagles because they are majestic. Eagles are independent. They often soar more than fly like burung gagak.Lolz. Once i read a article about eagles saying that the mother eagle teach their eaglets to fly by kicking them out of the nest. Poor eaglet have to learn and struggle how to fly. The mother will watch them from above. She will dive down to save her eaglet when she saw her eaglet is almost about to hit the ground and bring the eaglet back up to the tree. Then the process of teaching them to fly is repeated till the young eaglet knows how to fly.
This story reminds me about daily life. When time of storms in our life are approching towards us, we have to face it like an eagle by trusting God that He will provide open door and calm the storm. Eagle will still soar during the storm. Sometimes God allows problem to come into our life. It is just like the mother eagle teaching the young eaglet how to fly. God want us to be able to stand on our own feet with God's strength and wisdom to resist temptation and overcome storms. He will watch us from above, when we are about to go down and down all the way, He will come a save us and put us back on track.
One day when i was in UPM, in the bus waiting for it to move. I look up the sky and i saw 2 eagles soaring high. I reminds me again about the story of the eagle by trusting and having faith in God that He will lead and save me in times of trouble.

"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and self-discipline."
